I'm always up for a little experimentation! Here we've got a 3d printed blank base using color shifting filament filled with casting resin and white micah powder. I went with a gunmetal twist but I think these colors would look great in chrome or black chrome.

These mechanic pencils are made from premium endgrain cuts of canarywood, purpleheart, redheart, tiger maple and cocobola. Hot off the lathe, these are for sale. If they're gone quickly, I do take custom orders!

Making a pen is very much a creative process. De-gassed casting resins, combining Micah powders with "fordite" chunks molded and cured under high pressure... You never know what the final result will be~ but it is always beautiful 😍

For my fellow dog lovers. Here's a pair of gelcoat "fordite" + alumalite & micah dressed in "I Love My Dog" click style hardware in gold and rubbed bronze. I make all my own pen blanks, these being from reclaimed gelcoat overspray and the process lends to eye popping and unique patterns once turned to final shape. These two pens are currently available and for sale as a set or single.
